A murder investigation in northwest Delhi has taken a dramatic turn after police arrested five people, including a financier, in connection with the death of a 45-year-old man whose killing was allegedly disguised as a road accident. On July 16, the victim, named as Deepak, was discovered dead in the Kanjhawala neighborhood close to Chandpur Majra Road. At first, it seemed like an SUV was involved in a fatal car accident. Investigators then discovered evidence, nonetheless, indicating that the attack was purportedly planned and executed as a form of retaliation. Police said the alleged mastermind had an old dispute with Deepak and accused him of harassing his sister.
Financier Allegedly Planned the Attack
