Sudhir Dalvi Is Now Back Home
According to his wife, Sudhir Dalvi has returned home following his prolonged hospitalisation. However, his recovery is still underway. Suhas said that the veteran actor currently needs a walker to move around and is still experiencing some disorientation. Despite these difficulties, she described his return home as a moment of relief for the family. She also spoke about the emotional pressure associated with a long hospital stay, apart from the financial cost of treatment.
Bollywood Stars Came Forward to Help
Suhas Dalvi recalled the support they received after information about the family's difficulties with hospital expenses reached people in the film industry. She said several members of the entertainment industry offered financial help. Among those she specifically remembered were Kartik Aaryan, Ranbir Kapoor and Akshay Kumar, who were reportedly among the early people to extend support. The actor's wife also indicated that the assistance did not come only from Bollywood. People from outside the film industry and devotees of Sai Baba also contributed towards helping the family during the challenging period. She expressed gratitude for the kindness shown towards her husband and said the response had been overwhelming.

The actor was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital in October 2025 after developing serious complications related to sepsis. The infection reportedly affected his joints and mobility, resulting in a prolonged stay in the intensive care unit. His condition required extensive medical attention and rehabilitation.
Sai Baba Trust Also Extended Financial Assistance
The actor's family later received institutional support as well. In December 2025, the Shree Saibaba Sansthan Trust was permitted to provide financial assistance for Sudhir Dalvi's treatment. The trust subsequently contributed ₹11 lakh towards his medical expenses. Suhas also explained that the family had received regular financial assistance from a film association. Given that Sudhir had received the medical care he needed during his hospitalisation, she said they were considering asking the association to redirect its support towards someone else who might need it more urgently.
Wife Says He Now Needs Prayers
With Sudhir Dalvi now recovering at home, his family is focused on his gradual improvement. Suhas acknowledged that the recovery process has been slow. She also spoke about her own difficulties while caring for her husband, saying that despite her age and health challenges, she is doing everything possible to look after him. At this stage, she believes that continued care, patience and prayers are what the veteran actor needs most.
