They surrounded the station, and a heated argument with the police ensued for a considerable time.
Police Clears Kinners from the Road, Leading to a Standoff at the Police Station
The Bypass Police Station took action against the kinners who were collecting money from vehicles parked along the roadside. On Wednesday, about two dozen kinners surrounded the station in protest. The police tried to reason with them, but the kinners remained defiant. The kinners claimed they were chased out of the police station, while the police argued that these individuals were stopping vehicles in the middle of the road, creating a dangerous situation as drivers speeded up to avoid them, increasing the risk of accidents.
Kinners Have Been Charged Before, Ten Arrested in Past Incidents
Rajesh Kumar Jha, the Station Head of Bypass Police Station, stated that the kinners were sent back after a talk. A case had already been filed against them for extorting money from people. It's important to note that similar actions have been taken before. The police at Agamkuan Police Station had arrested ten kinners in connection with money extortion and sent them to jail.
