Foundation Stone for ₹2,580 Crore Projects: Transforming Infrastructure & Public Welfare

At 2:45 PM in Silvassa, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple projects worth ₹2,580 crore. These projects aim to boost infrastructure, improve connectivity, and promote economic growth across the Union Territory.

The projects include:

✅ Upgradation of village roads and highway connectivity to improve accessibility.
✅ Construction of new schools, Anganwadi centers, and health & wellness centers to enhance education and healthcare facilities.
✅ Expansion of Panchayat and administrative buildings for better governance.
✅ Strengthening of water supply and sewage infrastructure to improve sanitation and public health.
✅ Development of industrial zones and tourism-friendly initiatives to create new job opportunities and boost local businesses.

PM Modi to Distribute Benefits Under Rozgar Mela, PM Awas Yojana, and Women Empowerment Schemes

As part of his mission to uplift the underprivileged, PM Modi will distribute appointment letters under the Rozgar Mela, offering government jobs to several young professionals in the Union Territory.

Additionally, he will hand over benefits to beneficiaries under the PM Awas Yojana – Urban, ensuring affordable housing for economically weaker sections.

The Gir Adarsh Aajeevika Yojana will be another key highlight of his visit. This scheme is aimed at empowering women from Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), Other Backward Classes (OBCs), and minorities by setting up small dairy farms and bringing socio-economic transformation to their lives.

PM Modi will also launch the Sylvan Didi scheme, a program dedicated to uplifting women street vendors. Under this scheme, aesthetically designed carts will be distributed, co-funded by the PM SVANIDHI scheme, enabling women to enhance their businesses and improve their earnings.

Surat to Witness the Launch of the Food Security Saturation Campaign

At 5 PM in Surat, PM Modi will launch the Surat Food Security Saturation Campaign, an initiative to ensure that food security benefits reach every eligible beneficiary.

Under this program, over 2.3 lakh beneficiaries will receive entitlements under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), strengthening the government's commitment to eradicating hunger and malnutrition in Gujarat.

The Lakhpati Didi initiative is a pioneering effort aimed at enabling women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to earn at least ₹1 lakh annually through various entrepreneurship activities. Launching G-SAFAL and G-MAITRI: A Major Boost to Rural Livelihoods and Startups

As part of the Gujarat Government’s commitment to rural development and entrepreneurship, PM Modi will also launch two major schemes—G-SAFAL and G-MAITRI—in Navsari.

? G-SAFAL (Gujarat Scheme for Antyodaya Families for Augmenting Livelihoods) will offer financial aid and business training to women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs), particularly in two Aspirational Districts and thirteen Aspirational Blocks of Gujarat.

? G-MAITRI (Gujarat Mentorship and Acceleration of Individuals for Transforming Rural Income) will provide financial support and mentorship to rural startups, fostering an environment for entrepreneurial growth in rural Gujarat.

By supporting startups working to improve rural livelihoods, G-MAITRI aims to enhance employment opportunities and create a self-sustaining rural economy.
