Major Accident on Jaipur-Ajmer Highway: Truck Collides with Low-Floor Bus, 10 Injured

The Jaipur-Ajmer highway has yet again turned into a site of tragedy, with a major accident reported on Monday morning. A speeding truck rammed into a low-floor passenger bus near Bagru, about 30 kilometers from Jaipur, leaving 10 people injured.

Among those involved, two individuals sustained severe injuries and are currently receiving intensive care.

Details of the Incident

Witnesses reported that a low-floor bus traveling towards Jaipur was struck on its side by a truck that was recklessly attempting to overtake another vehicle. The collision caused the bus to lose control and veer off the road, leading to considerable disorder inside the vehicle as passengers were thrown from their seats.

Local residents and emergency services arrived at the scene promptly to offer assistance. The injured were transported to a nearby hospital, where medical teams confirmed that while the majority of injuries were minor, two passengers are critically injured and remain under observation.
