LOHIT DISTRICT, Nov 07: Arunachal Pradesh is on the path to transforming Parshuram Kund, one of its most revered pilgrimage sites, into a premier religious destination in Northeast India. Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein recently inspected ongoing infrastructure projects at Parshuram Kund, located in the Lohit district, underscoring the state’s commitment to enhancing facilities for pilgrims and boosting local tourism.

During the site visit, Mein reviewed critical projects, including a new riverfront, a dedicated pilgrim’s lodge, and a guesthouse, all part of an ambitious redevelopment plan. To support these projects, the state government has allocated ₹50 crore, alongside another ₹50 crore from the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), marking a significant investment aimed at positioning Parshuram Kund as a major pilgrimage hub.
