Trivandrum, March 9: In an emphatic display of skill and dominance, Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) registered a comprehensive 6-wicket victory over Mizoram in the ongoing Women’s U-23 One Day Trophy at St. Xavier’s KCA Cricket Stadium. The match saw an outstanding bowling performance from Ananaya Sharma, followed by a swift chase that ensured J&K’s comfortable win.

Mizoram’s Batting Lineup Collapses Under Pressure

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Mizoram struggled to find momentum against J&K’s disciplined bowling attack. Their batting lineup crumbled, managing to post a meager total of just 54 runs in 27.4 overs.

Despite the batting woes, Nunmawii showed some resistance, scoring 12 runs off 28 balls, including two boundaries. However, the rest of the Mizoram batters failed to counter J&K’s relentless bowling assault, leading to their downfall.
