The countdown is on! Today, January 23, marks the final opportunity for parents and candidates to register for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025. Applications can be submitted online until 5:00 PM at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.

Application Deadline: January 23, 2025 (until 5:00 PM)
Fee Payment Window: Open until January 24, 2025
Correction Window: January 26–28, 2025
Application Fees:
- ₹800: General, OBC-NCL, Defence, and Ex-Servicemen categories
- ₹650: SC and ST categories
Exam Details:
The AISSEE 2025 will be conducted offline (OMR-based) in 190 cities across India. The exact date of the exam and the admit card release will be announced soon.
Eligibility Criteria
For Class 6 Admission:
- Age: Candidates must be 10–12 years old as of March 31, 2025. (Born between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2015)
- Gender: Both boys and girls are eligible.
- Special Note for Girls: The number of seats available for girls varies by school.
For Class 9 Admission:
- Age: Candidates must be 13–15 years old as of March 31, 2025. (Born between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2012)
- Academic Qualification: Must have passed Class 8 from a recognized school.
- Gender: Admission for girls depends on seat availability in respective schools.
Exam Pattern:
Class 6:
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes (2:00 PM to 4:30 PM)
Total Marks: 300
Subjects & Marks:
Language: 50 marks
Mathematics: 150 marks
Intelligence: 50 marks
General Knowledge: 50 marks
Class 9:
Duration: 3 hours (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
Total Marks: 400
Subjects & Marks:
Mathematics: 200 marks (50 questions, 4 marks each)
Intelligence: 50 marks
English: 50 marks
General Science: 50 marks
Social Science: 50 mark
