Once she reached a secluded cave to meditate, one of the guides, identified as Venkatesan, allegedly attacked and sexually assaulted her. She was left traumatized, but somehow managed to escape and seek help.

After what happened, the woman went to the local police to report the crime, and they jumped into action to arrest the guy. The suspect, Venkatesan, is facing charges under several parts of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including sexual assault and criminal intimidation.
