Renowned for his straightforward approach, the newly appointed Director General of Police (DGP) presented an extensive strategy designed to enhance law enforcement capabilities, combat organized crime, and rebuild public confidence in the police force.

Clear Instructions to Police Officials

On his first day, Vinay Kumar issued strict directives to all police officials, emphasizing the need for visible and effective policing. He directed station house officers (SHOs) to enhance patrols in sensitive and high-crime regions, particularly during late-night hours. This initiative is designed to bolster citizens' sense of safety and foster greater confidence in the police force.
