In a proactive move to address sanitation challenges, local commissioners appointed by the Punjab and Haryana High Court conducted an extensive inspection across Gurugram on Thursday. This project was started in response to a court order to assess the city's waste management system and the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram's (MCG) ability to keep the area clean.

The inspection was conducted in light of escalating concerns regarding insufficient waste disposal practices, the accumulation of litter on unoccupied lots, and unsatisfactory sanitation conditions in various areas of the city.
