The Prime Minister shared a series of posts on social media to underscore the importance of these initiatives: “Today is a momentous day for the development of Delhi.I will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several big projects in Ashok Vihar, which will improve the quality of life for all citizens of Delhi.

The event signals a proud moment for the Delhi as PM Modi made significant announcements regarding various development projects regarding healthcare, housing and education sectors thereby boosting the infrastructure in the capital city. A key highlight of the day’s agenda is the inauguration of 1,675 newly constructed flats under the In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project. If slum dwellers are going to receive better housing and healthier conditions in a more comfortable residence it will possibly be these flats. PM Modi said this initiative will make a substantial difference in the lives of many families by providing better conditions to live and enhancing their life quality.

Apart from housing, PM Modi also spoke about two critical infrastructure projects that are set to boost Delhi’s economic and residential landscapes.
