A major incident occurred at the construction site of the international airport in Jewar, Greater Noida, on Tuesday. A crane involved in the construction work caught fire, causing panic at the site. Workers who were operating the crane at the time of the fire faced the danger, but thanks to the prompt action of the fire department, no significant casualties were reported. After extinguishing the fire, safety measures were ensured at the site.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place in the morning when the crane was busy with its regular tasks. Upon receiving the fire alert, officials from the Jewar police and fire department quickly arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control. Although a part of the crane was destroyed by the fire, fortunately, no workers were injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
